Angel
Angels are frequently represented glorifying God through music (Glorification). This celebration takes place in the heavens (Celestial music). Since this celebration is associated with the idea of the world (if, for example, God holds a terrestrial globe in his hand or if angels are arranged in concentric circles around God (their arrangement evoking both the celestial hierarchy and the celestial spheres, that scene should be indexed as Music of the world.
Angels also appear sounding horns or trumpets in the context of the Apocalypse. These sonic signals ring out on earth (even though herald angels often appear in the sky in visual representations, this is not an example of celestial music).
This sound is a manifestation of divine power. It is a reflection of the time of the Revelation (the seven trumpets), a call to humankind before the Last Judgment and a celebration of the adventus Domini (Eschatological music).
