We may consider notions such as: chord, tuning, harmony, disharmony, interval, divine mathematical law, measure, modality, precision.

Tuning generally relates to stringed instruments, but it can also be applied to the adjustment of the sound of another type of instrument, such as a wind instrument.

Harmony is indexed when the image represents coherence among multiple performances. Disharmony occurs when performances seem to clash with each other.

Divine mathematical law concerns images in which the theme of number (weight, measure, etc.) renders visible the mathematical principles of musical aesthetics.

The precision of sound is expressed by the designation of a note or of a part of an instrument (record 304), the explicit coordination of several performances (record 79) or the use of metaphors such as juggling with knives (record 178).
